GION TSUJIRI SAKURA CHA l 桜茶
PRODUCTION:
The petals of cherry blossoms are harvested when the bloom from mid to late spring in Japan. After the calyxes are removed, the petals are pickled in plum vinegar, salt, dried and then sealed in packets.
We have Sakura-cha made by two Japanese tea makers.
① This is Japanese SAKURA-CHA, cultivated and produced traditionally in, Kansai region, Japan by the maker, called GYOKUROEN. The maker has more than 95 years history in the tea production.
② This is Japanese SAKURA-CHA, cultivated and produced traditionally in, Kansai region, Japan by the historical tea maker, called GION TSUJIRI. The maker has more than 150 years history in the tea production.
